About Us
The Landscape Industry Council of Hawai’i (LICH) logo features an ‘Ohi’a flower which is endemic, found only in Hawai’i. Just as the ‘Ohi’a is first to establish itself on new lava flows, LICH is the first to establish new sustainable landscape initiatives including native plants, invasive plants, irrigation water conservation and edible landscaping.
LICH is dedicated to building green industry unity and promoting professionalism and industry standards through education, research, certification, and networking. LICH is the ‘Voice of the Green Industry.”
We encourage you to support your industry and your islands – volunteer, get involved, join LICH and stay connected.
Since 1986, LICH has been a statewide alliance representing Hawaii’s landscape trade associations:
- Aloha Arborist Association,
- American Society of Landscape Architects Hawaii Chapter
- Hawaii Association of Nurserymen
- Hawaii Island Landscape Association
- Hawaii Landscape and Irrigation Contractors
- Hawaii Society of Urban Forestry Professionals
- Kauai Landscape Industry Council
- Maui Association of Landscape Professionals
- Professional Grounds Management Society
- Big Island Association of Nurserymen
-
Hawaii Professional Gardeners Association.
